Curioshelf Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
In short
Curioshelf does not collect any data. The app has no account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
Your items. Names, categories, tags, prices, dates, values, storage places and notes are saved in the app's own storage on your device.
Your photos. Photos you take with the camera or choose from your photo library are copied into the app's own storage, made smaller, and saved without their metadata (such as the location where they were taken). The app only sees the photos you pick; it never reads your whole photo library and never saves anything to it.
Settings. Your default currency, view and sort order, and whether you have bought unlimited items, are kept in the app's settings on the device.
Like the data of other apps, this is included in your iPhone backup (iCloud or your computer) if you use backups. We have no access to those backups.
What we do not do
The app does not send your items, photos or any other information to us or to anyone else. We do not track you across apps or websites, do not use analytics or crash reporting services, and do not show ads.
Exports
When you export your collection as a spreadsheet, the file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to send it with the share sheet.
Purchases
The one-time purchase of unlimited items is handled by Apple. We do not receive your name, e-mail address or payment details. The app asks the App Store on your device whether the purchase was made; it does not send any purchase information to us.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all items removes every item and photo from the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone.
